My Story
I came upon Scentsy by accident. It was after a small house fire that I was given a warmer as a gift as an alternative to candles which had become forbidden in my house. It wasn’t long before I was buying enough to where it made sense for me to open my own account and start getting the perks of being a consultant. I had no intentions of selling any products. I am not a salesperson. But what I found was that without even realizing it, simply by sharing it, I was growing a business, and a team. I have grown a new family of over 400.
Its not just the products that we love; that's obvious. Its the family. Its my team, my friends, the CEO's of the company and what they stand for, what they represent. How many people can say they have earned NUMEROUS FREE trips with their company and have personally sat down and had dinner and conversations with the two founders of the company. With Scentsy, several others like me can. Because so many of us have sat down with Heidi and Orville Thompson, along with dozens of other Scentsy executives and officers. They are REAL, they listen, they support, they interact with all of their consultants. I've never before been involved with a company who cared so much for their reps, its refreshing! And motivating!
This company is about so much more than just an incredible array of quality products. Since jumping on this Scentsy ride in mid-2011, without my knowing, I have been given awesome new opportunities, new friends, a huge increase in drive that I didn't even know I had. I had NO idea I was going to recruit a team of outstanding individuals who are not only a huge pleasure to work with, but that drive me to be a good leader, for them. They have helped ME become the person I am now.
Its so awesome to be excited about something again and not get caught up in the boring day to day life that is work, bills, house, chores, etc. Everyone needs something that works for them, and this is it for me. And it is it for so many people, some who may not know it yet.
